Congratulations to students at Squamish Elementary School, Mamquam Elementary School and Garibaldi Highlands Elementary for being winners in the Invader Ranger Poster Competition.  See winning posters here.  Thanks to all those who participated! 

Check out the YouTube video with posters from across BC:  IPCBC Invader Ranger Poster Contest 2010.mov Compilation of all the winning entries from across the province set to the music of Ken Lonnquist's, "NIght of the Invasive Plants". The contest asked kids to create, draw, and describe their own invasive plant. School kids in British Columbia, Canada, grades K-7, submitted thousands of posters, of them, only 62 were judged to be the best in their grade category.
